Your tasks

  • Engineer human cells using synthetic gene circuits and biosensing platforms
  • Develop new biosensing systems for real-time monitoring of cellular states
  • Create genetic systems for precise control of therapeutic proteins
  • Translate research into programmable cellular implant prototypes
  • Collaborate closely with molecular biologists, bioengineers, and clinical researchers

What you bring

  • You are highly motivated to bridge basic and translational research in cell biology and synthetic biology
  • You have strong skills in molecular and cell biology techniques, including working with primary human cells and mammalian cell lines
  • Experience with in vivo techniques and a completed course in laboratory animal science (FELASA / LTK or equivalent) is a plus
  • You have an outstanding academic record
  • You are enthusiastic about a career in academia, industrial R&D, or biotechnology entrepreneurship
