You lead engineering for advanced industrial products in the global vacuum market. You work closely with product managers, project managers, supply chain managers, and quality engineers to make products successful both technically and commercially. Your work supports important fields like power generation, scientific research, and advanced instruments.

• Lead engineering for product development, customization, and sustainment in your product portfolio
• Manage a design and development engineering team, including recruiting, training, coaching, and capacity planning
• Assign, direct, and evaluate design and development work, supporting project teams with technical expertise
• Review and approve concepts, designs, and changes
• Develop and implement policies, standards, and procedures for corporate engineering teams
• Support product management in developing the product portfolio roadmap
• Analyze technology and resource needs based on market inputs to plan and assess project feasibility

• Completed education in mechanical engineering, precision engineering, or mechatronics (Bachelor or similar)
• Strong knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles for product development and customization, including blueprints, drawings, models, and testing
• Solid project management skills in an international company
• Strong communication skills and advanced technical English skills, written and spoken
• Knowledge of machinery directive and ISO class regulations
• Agile mindset and understanding of agile principles for cross-discipline, agile teams
• Experience in the vacuum industry is an advantage
• Willingness to travel internationally (about 15%)
