Join a 3–6 month advanced fellowship at a leading clinic with over 10 years of experience in lymphatic reconstructive surgery and pioneering robotic microsurgery. You will be part of a high-volume academic plastic surgery service and a structured research program focused on surgical innovation and lymphatic science. The fellowship includes both clinical and research components, with a 60% clinical and 40% research focus. Please note, this is an unpaid fellowship and accommodation in Zurich is organized and sponsored by you. The working language is English, and German language skills are helpful.

Deine Aufgaben

  • Participate in a structured curriculum covering robotic microsurgery, simulation modules, case-based learning, and operating room workflow orientation
  • Attend rounds, conferences, teaching sessions, and educational activities
  • Engage in research projects with scientific mentorship and dedicated research time
  • Track A (Clinical Fellow, 6 months):
    • Supervised participation in outpatient clinics, perioperative care, and operating theatre activities
    • Progressive clinical responsibilities based on competency milestones
    • Participation in journal clubs and skills lab training
    • Active research involvement, including lab meetings and data presentation
  • Track B (Observership Fellow, 3 months):
    • Structured shadowing of clinical routines, including ward rounds and outpatient clinics
    • Observation in the operating theatre
    • Participation in journal clubs and skills lab training
    • Research involvement, including lab meetings and data presentation
