• Lead and promote a strong safety and quality culture in all logistics and warehousing operations, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, health, environmental, SRT, and airworthiness authority requirements.
• Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of the Safety Management System (SMS), ensuring all SMS responsibilities are met.
• Provide strategic and operational leadership for safe, compliant, and efficient warehouse and material-handling processes across the ZRH logistics network.
• Drive operational excellence using Lean principles, KPIs, data-driven performance management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage financial performance for logistics, including budgeting, cost control, and achieving cost-reduction and efficiency targets.
• Build, lead, and develop the logistics and warehousing team with clear objectives, structured follow-up, capability development, and effective resource planning.
• Ensure effective planning and execution of kitting (marshalling), ready-to-service processes, and warehouse operations to meet turnaround time and service-quality targets.
• Define, optimize, and govern end-to-end material-transport processes, including working with external logistics providers, ensuring regulatory compliance and meeting all contractual service levels.

• Master's degree (or equivalent) in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management.
• At least 7 years of senior experience in logistics or supply chain, including a minimum of 7 years in a leadership role and several years in a production-oriented environment.
• Proven experience in implementing e-commerce solutions, automation technologies, and digitalization initiatives in logistics or warehousing.
• Strong background in Lean Management and continuous improvement in operational settings.
• Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills for guiding complex logistics operations.
• Solid understanding of aviation-specific regulations (such as EASA Part 145, MOE, NASP Cargo Manual) is a strong advantage.
• High proficiency in German (C1) and English (C1).
