You play a key role in helping customers reach decarbonization goals, lower costs, and create great experiences for people. You join our Buildings Business Unit, which brings together products, software, and services for innovative buildings and infrastructure.

Deine Aufgaben

  • Manage and coordinate product-related environmental protection (PrEP) activities across building products, services, and software solutions
  • Lead SI B specific project teams with stakeholders like Procurement, R&D, IT, and Product Management to meet product requirements and legal compliance with regulations (EU REACH/RoHS, China RoHS, CSRD)
  • Represent SI B in global projects and meetings (such as PrEP JF, Unicorn, CSRD working group, PPWR working group)
  • Guide and monitor data collection and quality checks; create solutions to automate these processes
  • Increase transparency on substances of concern (SoC) across the SI B portfolio, including third-party products
  • Support the implementation of EU Taxonomy requirements with R&D, including SoC substitution checks and process support
  • Help integrate Robust Eco Design (RED) into products with SI B PRO
  • Train internal stakeholders (like R&D and Product Managers) on environmental requirements, standards, and legal requirements

Was du mitbringst

  • Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a similar field
  • Experience in the buildings technology industry, ideally with Siemens or a comparable portfolio
  • At least 3 years of proven experience in product-related environmental protection (PrEP)
  • Knowledge of environmental standards (ISO 14020, 14040 series)
  • Familiarity with environmental regulations (REACH, RoHS, POPs, Chinese Regulations, etc.)
  • Advanced skills in database management
  • Affinity for IT tools and AI solutions
  • Experience in change management and digital transformation
  • Proficient with MS Office suite and data analysis tools
  • Strong analytical and collaborative skills
  • Team player with project management experience
  • Fluent in English; German skills are a plus
