Deine Aufgaben
- Design, develop, and maintain embedded software platforms for building control devices
- Build, optimize, and update core system components like kernel drivers, firmware update mechanisms, security modules, communication stacks, and system services
- Integrate and collaborate with open-source technologies such as Zephyr, Linux, Yocto, U-Boot, and related projects
- Enhance and maintain CI/CD pipelines to improve development, testing, and deployment
- Drive test automation and infrastructure to ensure robust continuous testing
- Work closely with cross-functional, agile teams to deliver scalable and reliable embedded software solutions
- Contribute to open-source communities and drive innovation in embedded platforms
Was du mitbringst
- Degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field
- Proven experience in Embedded Linux (Yocto) and/or RTOS (Zephyr) development
- Proficient in embedded programming (C, C++, Rust, Shell, Python)
- Hands-on experience with kernel driver development and low-level hardware interfaces
- Skilled in using hardware debugging tools and communication protocols (networking, I2C, SPI, UART, thread)
- Knowledge of embedded security (secure boot, encryption, etc.)
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and test automation frameworks (such as LAVA, LabGrid)
- Experience with infrastructure administration (Ansible, containers, hardening, profiling, monitoring) on-premises and in the cloud is a plus
- Motivated, proactive, and results-driven, with strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent English communication skills; German proficiency is a strong advantage
