You work closely with experts from different fields to design and develop processes for bacterial and cell culture systems. You operate and optimize automation platforms that are central to our products.

• Design and develop bioprocesses for bacterial and cell culture systems
• Operate automation platforms, especially Lucullus PIMS
• Work in multidisciplinary teams to develop new products
• Plan and execute experiments using experimental design (DOE)
• Use different analytical methods and code in Python and MATLAB
• Qualify and optimize systems during product development phases
• Evaluate results, document findings, and report on progress

• Academic degree in bioprocess technology (MSc or equivalent), focused on fermentation and process design for cell and bacteria cultures, or similar
• 2-3 years of experience as a biotechnologist in bioprocess engineering and/or a PhD in this field is an advantage
• Experience in bioprocess monitoring, control, automation, qualification, and optimization
• Knowledge of Lucullus PIMS is an advantage
• Strong analytical, independent, and solution-oriented mindset
• Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Hands-on experience in qualification and optimization during development phases
• Experience with planning and executing experiments, analytical methods, and coding in Python and MATLAB
• Fluent in German and English
