• Create understanding of company SHE values and inspire others to excel in compliance and continuous improvement
• Identify SHE priorities, current and future challenges, and opportunities for change at the site
• Guide the implementation of the Environmental Management System and SHE standards
• Develop and improve site SHE programmes for compliance and performance
• Ensure the local Safety, Health, and Environment management system maintains ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 certification
• Provide training and coaching to managers and team leaders to help them lead and manage SHE in their areas
• Offer personal coaching and support to the site management team
• Make sure compliance is regularly audited and performance is assessed, using results to drive improvement
• Engage with external stakeholders on SHE topics to build positive, long-term relationships

• Strong experience in manufacturing SHE roles
• Ideally degree educated to a high standard, preferably in a technical subject (or equivalent)
• NEBOSH National Diploma in OHS (or equivalent)
• Environmental Management qualification is desirable
• Experience taking ownership of SH&E and driving change through personal leadership
• Experience working in and leading cross-functional teams
• Experience in an operational environment

• Salary up to £50,000 depending on experience
