• Plan, design, implement, test, and deploy end-to-end services, focusing on generating tooth morphologies using geometric algorithms and machine learning.
• Write and review production code, shipping features across the stack and owning technical details.
• Maintain and improve service deployments, including build, release, and operational tooling.
• Own CI/CD pipelines for the team's services, ensuring reliability, speed, and quality.
• Work with architects and DevOps/SRE to optimize performance, scalability, observability, and cost.
• Drive technical implementations to meet business needs.
• Lead and implement epics containing multiple features, ensuring effective story breakdown.
• Refine epics to ensure clear feature story definition.
• Ensure system performance, security, and reliability of major components.
• Present technical strategies to teams and stakeholders.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align on technical decisions.
• Drive team-wide improvements and mentor junior engineers.
• Guide team members in best practices and code quality.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, or strong industry experience.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices, including shipping and operating production services end-to-end (Google Cloud Platform is a plus).
• Strong experience building backend/services in C++ (required). Go and Flutter/Dart are a plus.
• Experience owning deployments and CI/CD pipelines (build/test automation, release workflows, quality gates, observability basics).
• Proven ability to lead delivery of multi-feature epics, including breaking down work, driving technical approach, coordinating across engineers, and delivering on time while remaining hands-on in implementation.
• Experience collaborating on and influencing architecture (tradeoffs, scalability, maintainability).
• Hands-on technical leadership through mentoring and driving continuous improvements to engineering practices.
• Expert in modern C++.
• Production experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong system design and coding skills.
• CI/CD ownership and DevOps/SRE collaboration.
• Technical leadership and mentoring experience.
• Knowledge of Machine Learning / AI is advantageous (applied/production is a plus).
• AliCloud experience is nice to have.
• Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken. German skills are advantageous.
• Knowledge of medical device development is advantageous.
