You help shape the future of diesel engines by making key decisions on new and improved engine components. You work closely with different teams to make sure everything fits project needs and meets high standards.

• Decide on technical details and timelines for new and improved engine components
• Define technical specifications and key operating parameters for components
• Work with cross-functional teams to match technologies and specifications to project requirements
• Support FMEA processes and follow up on engine test activities
• Collaborate with suppliers on technology surveys, component development, and tear-down activities
• Set maintenance requirements and report development status to the platform manager
• Create the master Design and Validation Plan and prepare technical releases for components

• Completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Strong knowledge of combustion engines, DVP&Nr methodology, troubleshooting, and problem-solving
• Extensive experience with cast iron parts, including manufacturing, design-for-casting, and failure analysis
• Background in cylinder head and valve train systems, including design, tribology, materials, and thermo-mechanical behavior
• Excellent command of English, good knowledge of French or German
• Excellent MS Office skills
• Analytical thinker with strong leadership, flexibility, and resilience, mindful of cost and resources
