• Coordinate and organize external industry and grant projects in laser processing
• Find and acquire new projects
• Structure and follow up on project ideas
• Lead and coordinate pre-studies
• Prepare proposals for industry and grant-funded projects
• Develop collaboration opportunities with other research groups
• Build strategic consortiums and platform research initiatives
• Support the department head with organizational tasks

• Doctoral degree (ETH, university) focused on laser technology, additive manufacturing, pulsed laser, or similar
• At least 3 years of experience in applied research or industrial R&D
• Strong technical understanding of pulsed laser technology
• Experience with industry or grant-funded projects
• Excellent English skills; German is an advantage
• CH/EU/EFTA citizenship or valid Swiss work permit
• Proactive, self-driven, and strong sense of ownership
• Highly structured, well-organized, and solution-oriented
• Motivated to learn and develop new skills
