You lead a team that manages complex international customer, innovation, and product development projects. You make sure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with high customer satisfaction. You work closely with the Vice President R+D & Product Management and are part of the Department Management Team.

Deine Aufgaben

  • Lead a team of four Project Managers
  • Oversee complex international customer, innovation, and product development projects within set timelines and budgets
  • Drive project profitability by proactive steering, change management, and margin optimization
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction through strong delivery performance and product quality
  • Analyze market trends, technologies, and competitor activities to find and develop future product opportunities
  • Define product strategies, value propositions, portfolio roadmaps, and pricing in line with business goals
  • Monitor product performance using key business and operational KPIs
  • Gather and prioritize product requirements and turn them into actionable development inputs with R&D
  • Support product industrialization, including supply chain setup and production readiness
  • Manage product launches and enable the organization through training and communication
  • Develop and execute go-to-market plans and support sales with product expertise and marketing content
  • Represent products in customer and channel engagements
  • Lead technology and product development for cable and cable assembly solutions to meet market needs
  • Manage technical development projects from concept through feasibility to product release

Was du mitbringst

  • At least 10 years of global leadership experience in project management and/or product development, with strong use of project management methods (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)
  • Experience in industrial companies
  • University degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Technology Management, or related technical field
  • Additional qualification in Project Management (e.g., IPMA, PMI) preferred
  • Expert knowledge of project management principles (IPMA Level B or PMI PMP certification preferred)
  • Proven experience in product lifecycle management
  • Strong communication and organizational skills; able to engage diverse stakeholders across cultures and functions
  • Adaptive leadership style with strengths in coaching, mentoring, and team development
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong commercial awareness and focus on market alignment, timelines, and budgets
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive alignment across organizational boundaries
  • Strong conflict resolution and stakeholder management skills
  • Analytical, data-driven problem-solving approach with proactive risk mitigation
  • High resilience and ability to navigate complex environments with a calm and structured manner
  • Ability to foster accountability, collaboration, and a high-performance culture
  • Fluent in English and German (minimum B2 level)
  • Good IT skills (Microsoft Office / O365, PDM, ERP systems)
  • Willingness to travel (up to 10%)
