Join a dynamic platform at the forefront of cryo-electron tomography (cryo-ET) and help expand its capabilities. You will work in a state-of-the-art facility supporting research at the intersection of structural biology, cell biology, and molecular disease mechanisms. Our environment offers access to advanced cryo-EM equipment and a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.

Deine Aufgaben

  • Support researchers with cryo-EM/ET sample preparation and data collection
  • Train users in the operation of transmission electron microscopes and cryo-FIB/SEM
  • Streamline data-processing workflows for sub-tomogram averaging and structure determination
  • Actively contribute to the development of cryo-ET/EM projects and publications
  • Provide technical documentation and ensure effective troubleshooting

Was du mitbringst

  • PhD (or equivalent) in structural biology, natural sciences, or a related field
  • Hands-on experience with cryo-ET/EM state-of-the-art instrumentation
  • Proficiency in SPA, STA, and structure determination
  • Background in high-pressure freezing and cryo-lift-out is a plus
  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • Strong IT skills
  • Team player and proactive attitude
