Join a fast-growing team at Tethys Robotics, where you help bring innovative underwater robots to customers around the world. You play a key role in making sure our demonstrations, pilots, and trainings run smoothly and safely. You work closely with both sales and engineering teams and get to travel internationally, all while shaping how we deliver our technology to clients in exciting industries like offshore wind, oil and gas, maritime security, demining, and search & rescue.
Deine Aufgaben
- Plan, organize, and run product demonstrations, pilots, and trainings for customers worldwide
- Prepare equipment, manage logistics, and set up on site
- Do site and risk assessments to keep everyone safe and make sure things run well
- Be the main operator during demos and pilots, showing and explaining our robots to customers
- Work with R&D engineers for advanced technical support
- Train customers on how to use our robotic systems
- Process data after each job, write reports, and share results with customers and teams
- Spot marketing chances during customer visits, like taking photos or collecting testimonials
- Help improve and standardize our demo and pilot processes, including checklists and reports
- Share your offshore experience with the sales and engineering teams
- Document technical issues and give clear feedback for product improvement
Was du mitbringst
- 5+ years of offshore experience as an EOD/commercial diver, or AUV/ROV operator, or similar background
- Technical skills and hands-on attitude; background in engineering, technical operations, or related field (robotics experience is a plus)
- Strong market knowledge and experience with offshore campaigns
- Experience in customer-facing technical roles (demos, trainings, service, or field support)
- Good communication and presentation skills; confident with customers
- Strong organizational skills for planning and logistics
- Comfortable operating and troubleshooting technical equipment
- Willing to learn data handling and reporting
- Open to frequent international travel (2–4 days, about twice a month, sometimes on short notice)
- Independent, pragmatic, and solution-oriented; works well in fast-paced settings
- Fluent in professional English (written and spoken); other languages are a plus
- Driver’s license required
- Enjoy working in a start-up team and in challenging outdoor conditions
- Bonus: Experience in robotics, maritime high-tech, or industrial inspection; offshore certifications (GWO/BOSIET or similar); not prone to sea-sickness
