Join a pioneering team at the Laboratory of Molecular Medicine as we develop ViViD-AFM V2.0, a next-generation nano-imaging system. In this role, you help move our technology from academic prototypes to commercial-grade systems, ensuring new and independent intellectual property. You will play a key part in shaping the future of live-cell imaging and preparing for our upcoming spin-off.

Deine Aufgaben

  • Define the technical vision and high-level design for ViViD-AFM V2.0, making sure the system is scalable and robust.
  • Lead the design process to create a system that is independent from previous versions and builds a new patent portfolio.
  • Coordinate closely with the Lead Mechatronics Engineer to align hardware development with system goals.
  • Translate complex research needs into a practical, high-speed architecture for live-cell imaging.

Was du mitbringst

  • Deep knowledge of high-speed AFM hardware for soft cell surface imaging.
  • Experience moving from academic prototypes to commercial-grade systems.
  • Ability to analyze older systems and design new, IP-independent frameworks.
  • Degree in Physics or Engineering, with a focus on precision instrumentation.
