Deine Aufgaben

  • Design and create digital assets like icons, SVGs, illustrations, and logos
  • Develop interactive widgets and visualizations to explain complex topics, using gamification elements such as storytelling and smooth user flows
  • Create mockups, wireframes, and prototypes with tools like Figma or Penpot
  • Design modern, visually appealing web layouts and UI components
  • Produce data visualizations (static, animated, or interactive) using tools like d3.js
  • Work with developers to ensure your designs are implemented smoothly
  • Contribute to brand identity through logo development, visual guidelines, and style systems

Was du mitbringst

  • Degree in Interaction Design, Visual Communication, Graphic Design, or a related field
  • Background in Motion Design, 2D-Animation, or Digital Illustration/Animation is highly valued
  • Portfolio that clearly shows relevant past projects (web design, gamification, animation, interactive visuals)
  • Skilled in Figma, Penpot, and Adobe Creative Suite (especially After Effects); Affinity Suite is a plus
  • Experience creating SVG assets and vector graphics for the web
  • Familiar with HTML/CSS and basic frontend concepts; Onlook experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of d3.js or other visualization libraries is a strong plus
  • Experience with real camera recording embeddings is a plus
  • Good sense for typography, color, and layout
  • Able to turn complex information into clear visual stories
  • Experience with research or scientific communication is a plus
  • Proactive and creative, enjoying iterative design processes
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); German skills are a bonus
