Deine Aufgaben

  • Explore how the body absorbs and uses minerals from new sources in clinical trials
  • Summarize what is known about minerals from new sources for human nutrition and health
  • Design intervention meals for clinical trials, including sensory tests
  • Assess how well minerals can be accessed in the lab (in vitro)
  • Evaluate mineral bioavailability in the lab (in vitro)
  • Carry out clinical trials with foods enriched with new mineral sources
  • Support teaching and help supervise MSc and BSc students
  • Work between science and technology by guiding students and working with partners from academia and industry
  • Support grant applications and related activities with research centers and partners

Was du mitbringst

  • MSc in Nutrition and Health, Clinical Trials, Food Science and Technology (with strong nutrition or clinical experience), or a related field
  • Strong passion for nutrition, health, sustainability, and new food sources
  • Experience and interest in human or clinical research (GCP certificate required, can be obtained after starting)
  • Experience and strong interest in nutrition assessment using in vivo models
  • Ability to work well in a dynamic, international, and interdisciplinary team
  • Ability to collaborate with different teams and partners
  • Interest in working independently and supervising students
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Scientific curiosity and motivation to do rigorous experimental work
