Join a leading research group focused on how knowledge and innovation can help economies become more resilient to climate change. You will be part of an interdisciplinary team working on real-world solutions for climate resilience, contributing to both research and policy advice. This full doctoral position is part of the National Centre of Competence in Research (NCCR) CLIM+ and the Einstein School’s doctoral program at ETH Zurich.

Deine Aufgaben

  • Conduct empirical research using patents and innovation data to study economic resilience in the context of climate change
  • Collaborate with a team of experts in innovation economics, innovation studies, and public policy
  • Work on projects that address how localization of knowledge can help manage foreign supply shocks for strategic technologies, such as energy technologies
  • Contribute to providing policy advice for enhancing economic resilience to climate change and global challenges
  • Participate actively in the research agenda of the Energy and Technology Policy Group
  • Encouraged to co-advise master’s students

  • Master’s degree (or near completion) in economics, management with interest in innovation/technologies, innovation studies, industrial engineering, public policy, or a related field
