• Support the Housemaster or Housemistress in caring for students in the house
• Take charge of the house when the Housemaster or Housemistress is away
• Help with the daily running of the house
• Build strong, trusting relationships within the house
• Communicate with parents through the Housemaster or Housemistress
• Develop and share good practices based on your skills and experience
• Promote the school's values and goals
• Teach a reduced timetable
• Take part in school life outside the classroom, including weekend activities, residential weeks, and trips

• Degree-level qualification
• Teaching or other professional qualifications are desirable
• Experience in teaching and boarding
