Deine Aufgaben

  • Support the evaluation, structuring, and execution of private credit and private equity transactions
  • Build and maintain financial models, including LBO, credit, and cash flow models
  • Conduct commercial, financial, and operational due diligence
  • Prepare investment memoranda and presentations for internal committees
  • Help source investment opportunities through relationships with sponsors, intermediaries, and companies
  • Screen new opportunities and perform initial assessments
  • Track market developments, sector trends, and valuation benchmarks, especially in the DACH region
  • Support monitoring of portfolio companies and credit investments
  • Analyze financial performance, covenant compliance, and key risk indicators
  • Assist with add-on acquisitions, refinancings, amendments, restructurings, and exits
  • Coordinate with external advisors like legal, financial, tax, and due diligence providers
  • Work with management teams, sponsors, and financing partners during transactions and portfolio management
  • Collaborate closely with senior investment professionals across credit and equity strategies

Was du mitbringst

  • 5-7 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, private credit, leveraged finance, or transaction services
  • Experience with private markets transactions preferred
  • Background with sponsor-backed or privately owned businesses is a plus
  • Strong skills in financial modelling and valuation
  • Good understanding of capital structures, credit fundamentals, and equity value drivers
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong commercial judgement and intellectual curiosity
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, high-responsibility setting
  • Team player with ability to own workstreams
  • Professional maturity and strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field
  • CFA or progress toward CFA is a plus
  • Native-level German required
  • Fluent English required; other European languages are a plus
