Join a research group at the Department of Chemistry, University of Zurich, working on new ways to find and study natural products. You will help create tools that make it easier and faster to discover these important compounds. This project uses Organic and Analytical Chemistry together with Metabolomics. You will work in a modern lab with advanced equipment and be part of an international team.
Deine Aufgaben
- Synthesize chemical probes from biomass to identify chemicals
- Extract natural products from samples
- Analyze results using a UHPLC-HRMS system
- Find out the structure of compounds
- Perform bioassays to test the compounds
Was du mitbringst
- Master's degree in Chemistry
- Strong background in Analytical and Organic Chemistry
- Experience in natural product isolation and metabolomics is a plus
- Fluent in English
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Motivated and able to work independently on interdisciplinary projects
